QUALIFICATIONS

 

 

Required:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a testing lab environment with knowledge of standard methods for mechanical testing
  • Excellent verbal communication and attention to detail

Preferred:

  • Associate degree or higher in a technical field
  • Experience with product testing in a regulated industry such as medical devices or pharmaceuticals
  • Experience using Solidworks or 3D CAD software
  • Experience operating machining equipment such as drills, saws, lathes, mills, grinders, etc.

  • Strong competency with MS Word and Excel
  • A hands-on approach and mechanical aptitude
  • Experience with pressurized fluid test systems

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time
  • Ability to constantly operate a computer and other office equipment, such as printer, telephone, etc. 
  • Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds

  • Position requires being primarily physically present on the premises during regular company hours

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute tests per defined protocols/work instructions
  • Troubleshoot and correct mechanical, pneumatic, and software issues associated with test setup and execution
  • Assist engineering with the development of new test fixtures and methods
  • Provide training and test support to other technicians and engineers
  • Provide recommendations to technicians and engineers based on a deep understanding of device function and testing experience
  • Execute and/or assist with creating documentation such as protocols, reports, nonconformances, and engineering studies
  • Produce detailed documentation of results, with attention to detail and adherence to Enable Injection quality requirements
  • Work with engineers to perform root cause analysis on product complaints, test failures, and manufacturing defects
  • Adhere to company procedures, industry regulations and customer requirements
  • Maintain a clean workspace and be a champion for 5S and lab organization
