QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- A minimum of six (6) years of accounting experience
- Industry experience in manufacturing, particularly in inventory and cost accounting
- Proficiency with SAP ERP and advanced Excel skills
Preferred:
- Experience with inventory management systems
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma principles
- Experience with dashboards/views with SAC (SAP Cloud Analytics), Power BI or similar
- Prior involvement in system implementation or process automation initiatives

- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Effective problem-solving skills to identify and correct financial discrepancies
- Written and verbal communication skills to share accounting information when needed
- Ability to collaborate and maintain cooperative work relationships with others
- Technical skills and experience using accounting software

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time
- Ability to constantly operate a computer and other office equipment
- Ability to move around clean room and warehouse
- Potential travel: 5-10%
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform month end closing entries and reporting related to COGS and inventory
- Provide analysis of actuals against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods for COGS and inventory
- Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare regular reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs
- Work closely with operations and supply chain to provide cost insights and support process and efficiency improvements
- Report on overhead expenses, scrap, waste & inventory valuation
- Prepare annual compilation of manufacturing budget and review of standard costs
- Maintain and monitor standard costs for components and sub-assemblies
- Maintain and audit material master data in accordance with company procedures
- Collaborate with other departments to complete timely and accurate records while providing accounting support
- Establish a business partner relationship, with other departments (Ops, sales, engineering, etc.), to provide relevant information to improve business
- Entering financial data and transactions into the ledger
- Synthesize data and present reports in a meaningful way to management
- Supporting the Assistant Controller and other financial professionals in their duties as needed
