QUALIFICATIONS

 

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field; or education/experience equivalent
  • At least 3 years SAP Security Administration experience and 5 years SAP experience in a functional or technical support role
  • Substantial knowledge of SAP authorization concept as well as S/4 HANA technical and business processes
  • Experience working with business and project teams to gather security access or other technical requirements and author key project documentation to detail required solutions
  • Hands on experience analyzing for Segregation of Duties (SOD) conflicts, monitoring sensitive access, managing firefighter roles, and mitigating access risks to maintain regulatory compliance
  • Strong project management skills

Preferred:

  • Strong ODATA Services and CDS Views skills with overall good understanding of classical ABAP development
  • Understanding of computer system validation methodology
  • Experience with SAP GRC or other security and SOD administration software
  • Knowledge of Fiori customizing with experience in creating catalogs and tile groups
  • SAP Certified Technology Associate – SAP System Security and Authorizations
  • Functional knowledge and support experience, ideally in Finance and Controlling
  • Medical device, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industry experience with a solid understanding of Computer System Validation methodology

  • Ability to handle a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment, and prioritize effectively while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time
  • Able to move up to 25 pounds, occasionally
  • Occasional travel by conventional means including aircraft or motor vehicle

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead security strategy definition according to SOX requirements for all SAP and related solutions
  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to define, build, and maintain SAP security roles and SAP system access rules
  • Daily SAP technical and application support including role and user management, FICO or other application support, and troubleshooting/training according to helpdesk ticket needs
  • Manage outsourced Basis team to maintain expected SAP system availability and functionality
  • Perform integration and regression testing to manage the security and technical needs of SAP implementations, improvements, and upgrades
  • Assist with enhancement and system integration developments per active project requirements.
  • Monitor security solution to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Maintain system and regulatory documentation, provide regular reporting as needed
  • Support internal/external audits and drive remediation plans for related findings
  • Identify system improvement opportunities and lead improvement projects
