QUALIFICATIONS

 

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Business or related field
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Customer service oriented
  • Minimum 4 years’ technical experience with daily support of SAP operations activities in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with supporting SAP operational users to troubleshoot or train on system processes
  • Experience with SAP S/4 HANA or ECC

 

Preferred:

  • Experience with multiple SAP modules such as FI, MM, PP, QM, PM, SD, LE, DMS, Security, or GRC
  • Experience with Business Client and Fiori interfaces
  • Experience in pharmaceutical or high regulated industry

  • Gather and understand business support requirements
  • Collaborate with SAP Team, subject matter experts, and developers to establish and support technical vision and ensure expectations are met or succeeded
  • Develop user acceptance test scenarios, test scripts, protocols to validate technical solutions
  • Resolve system issues resulting from user error, incomplete setup, or system bugs
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced and multi-tasking environment
  • Ability to coordinate and draw conclusions from analysis that will support the decision making within the company
  • Task driven and self-directed and able to work independently with good time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Working knowledge in SAP support and usage, preferably S/4 HANA
  • Ability to learn and utilize future software/applications as they are deployed
  • Ability to adapt to change and handle unexpected situations
  • Ability to stay focused on tasks, organize, compare, interpret basic data, and assess problems
  • Work to acquire and develop new skills
  • Must work well in Team environment
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and show empathy for others

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time
  • Able to perform general office administrative activities
  • Able to move up to 25 pounds, occasionally
  • Occasional travel by conventional means including aircraft or motor vehicle

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop a strong working rapport with key end users and diligently work with them to meet business requirements
  • Ensure ongoing daily support of business operations for existing business processes
  • Support implementation projects of new or improved SAP business system functionality
  • Prepare user acceptance test scenarios, test scripts, regression tests, protocols to validate technical solutions
  • Develop and deploy training content to end users for SAP modules
  • Actively support daily SAP issues for all end users through the help desk system by executing the resolution or escalating the incidents to the appropriate level
  • Encourage disciplined use of SAP and processes to ensure business is obtaining efficiencies from SAP
  • Responsive to internal customer questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Strong ability to troubleshoot issues sometimes with little information
  • Ability and willingness to take initiative and work with business users to get the job done
