QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years of production planning or supply chain experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (medical device preferred)
- Hands-on experience with SAP (ECC or S/4HANA) in planning, MRP, and production order management
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel or similar data tools
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
Preferred:
- Experience in FDA-regulated or ISO 13485 manufacturing environments
- APICS CPIM or CSCP certification
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
- Familiarity with capacity planning, constraints management, and demand planning concepts

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Functional experience on equipment assemblies and systems engineering

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time
- Ability to constantly operate a computer and other office equipment, such as printer, telephone, etc.
- Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create, maintain, and optimize detailed production schedules to meet customer demand, service levels, and inventory targets
- Convert planned orders to production orders in SAP and ensure timely release to the shop floor
- Monitor production order progress, adjust schedules as needed, and proactively address bottlenecks
- Analyze capacity loads and collaborate with operations leadership to level load production lines
- Review MRP exception messages, material shortages, and safety stock levels to prevent production delays
- Coordinate with procurement and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components
- Monitor inventory levels and support inventory accuracy initiatives, including cycle counts and root-cause analysis
- Partner with Quality and Engineering to manage engineering change orders (ECOs) and integrate changes into the production plan
- Participate in daily/weekly production meetings to communicate schedule updates, risks, and mitigation plans
- Support New Product Introductions (NPIs) by incorporating new SKUs into SAP and planning systems
- Maintain accurate master data in SAP, including BOMs, routings, production versions, and planning parameters
- Analyze production performance metrics such as schedule adherence, lead times, and yield variances
- Troubleshoot SAP planning issues and collaborate with IT or planning super-users to resolve system constraints
- Ensure all planning activities comply with FDA, ISO 13485, and internal quality system requirements
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean or Six Sigma methodologies to improve throughput and reduce waste
- Contribute to documentation updates, SOP improvements, and audit readiness
