QUALIFICATIONS

 

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 6 years of progressive warehouse or distribution experience
  • 5 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a warehouse environment
  • Experience in manufacturing, high-volume distribution, or regulated environments preferred

 

Preferred:

  • 3 years of experience with SAP
  • Technical or vocational education preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to regularly move 25+ pounds
  • Ability to use manual/powered pallet moving equipment
  • Ability to remain stationary for extended periods of time
  • Ability to reach above shoulder height to place items on shelves

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage, train, and act as backup warehouse personnel to ensure that all warehouse activities are conducted safely and efficiently
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on warehousing processes and ensure that all warehouse activities comply with best practices and industry standards
  • Process receipt and shipping transactions in SAP and oversee the review and reconciliation of all receipts and shipments
  • Participate in tours and audits for the warehouse
  • Manage warehouse improvement projects and initiatives, working with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implementing solutions to optimize warehouse operations
  • Schedule and manage all external sterilization and 3rd party testing, ensuring that all products are properly tested and meet company quality standards
  • Manage scrap collection and disposal, ensuring that all waste is handled safely and in compliance with all applicable regulations and standards
  • Manage and oversee external warehouse operations, including inventory control and shipment between locations
  • Manage communication with freight vendors and ensure timely and accurate delivery of all goods
  • Prepare commercial lots for partner shipments, ensuring that all products are properly packaged and correct shipping documentation is included
  • Oversee cycle counts and perform data entry as needed to maintain accurate inventory records
  • Track inventory levels and place orders for operating supplies as needed to ensure that the warehouse is stocked as needed
  • Maintain all required records as required by the Quality system and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards
  • Manage timely workflow of material throughout various processes (receiving/picking/shipping)
  • Perform other duties as required to ensure the smooth operation of the warehouse
