QUALIFICATIONS

 

Required:

  • Associate’s degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience
  • 2 years of experience in facilities, maintenance planning, project coordination, or a related role
  • Relevant maintenance planning and project management training
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CMMS / ERP systems (SAP preferred)
  • Experience planning, tracking, and reporting work execution and project activities

 

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting preventive maintenance programs or asset management systems
  • Experience in a GMP-regulated medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of building systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, or utilities

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to use hands to handle tools, controls, and equipment

  • Position requires regular, on‑site presence during normal business hours or as approved by management

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the Facilities team in planning, coordinating, and executing facilities-related maintenance activities, routine operational tasks and projects
  • Receive, prioritize, plan, and coordinate work orders, ensuring required materials, tools, spare parts, and labor resources are available
  • Initiate, maintain, and complete all documentation in accordance with quality system procedures, GMP requirements, and safety regulations
  • Utilize SAP (including SAP Fiori / Plant Maintenance) to create, plan, track, and close work orders; maintain equipment records; and document maintenance history
  • Author and maintain documentation including work instructions, safety procedures, change controls, CAPA responses, maintenance plans, and project documentation
  • Serve as a liaison between Facilities, Operations, and external vendors or contractors for repairs, maintenance, and project execution
  • Participate in cross-functional project teams, collaborating with internal stakeholders to support facility improvements and expansions
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at improving uptime, asset lifecycle performance, safety, and operational efficiency
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance plans to support operational efficiency and asset reliability
  • Participate in audits or inspections as required
  • Assist in authoring scopes of work, soliciting RFQs, vendor evaluation and selection
  • Assist in managing equipment hierarchies, functional locations, and spare parts inventory to support maintenance readiness
  • Assist in defining project scope, scheduling activities, staging resources, and tracking execution against project plans
  • Assist in tracking and reporting on key performance indicators, maintenance KPIs, project milestones, equipment performance, downtime trends, and maintenance costs
  • Assist with monitoring maintenance-related spending and inventory usage
