QUALIFICATIONS

 

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a preference in Engineering
  • 15 years of medical device development and/or high-volume manufacturing experience
  • Experience in the leadership and strategic alignment of cross functional areas
  • Excellent understanding of manufacturing in a regulated environment
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing metrics
  • Experience with operations budgeting, ERP and inventory management experience
  • Knowledge of current regulatory requirements for GMP

 

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree
  • Combination product experience
  • Six Sigma Black Belt or demonstrated continuous improvement skill set
  • Equipment maintenance and validation experience in a regulated environment 
  • Experience with medical device manufacturing or Pharma manufacturing
  • Experience with automated equipment and common product and device assembly methods

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time
  • Ability to constantly operate a computer and other office equipment, such as printer, telephone, etc. 
  • Ability to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with senior management to develop Enable manufacturing strategy
  • Participate in development of company business systems & work environment
  • Ensures timelines are met, high-quality product is consistently delivered, and the business goals and objectives are achieved
  • Represent operations for the firm with business partners and suppliers
  • Work with engineering and strategic operations to implement capital equipment and manufacturing capacity plan
  • Assess efficiency of product manufacturing systems, develop & implement improvement plans
  • Set manufacturing metrics to track safety, quality, quantity, delivery and cost information
  • Create and execute strategies to sustainably improve manufacturing cost and labor productivity
  • Motivate and lead a high-performance management team in areas of responsibility
  • Supervise, develop, mentor and coach direct reports in maximizing their talent and career potential. Builds and maintains strong management meeting cadence and processes to ensure pro-active planning, accountability, and high morale
  • Develop and train associates to the present & future core competencies of the company
  • Provide on-going constructive feedback & coaching to team leaders to develop their skills
  • Support corporate vision, exemplify using the corporate vaules, and mentoring others to do the same
